“It wasn’t logic,it was love.” ~Carrie

It's true. There is no logic to explain how many times I have watched
re-runs of Sex and the City--just pure love. Today was no exception when I realized
I had some free time on my hands- what better way to spend it than lounging on the couch, going back in time with my bff Carrie Bradshaw. The E Channel obviously was reading my mind this morning when they decided to play re-runs under their title, "Ladies Who Lunch." Well, I'm not lunching today, but I am lounging. Close enough,
right?
Although Sex and the City has 4 main female characters, we all know there
was a fifth castmate--fashion. I always appreciated the crazy outfits Carrie wore but I was in high
school when the show was actually airing on TV. This means that my idea of haute couture
was tight, low-rider jeans and a spaghetti strap tank top. I only
envisioned in my head how "cool" I would look in Carrie's newspaper print Dior dress, or her tan, shredded Roberto Cavalli masterpiece. Btw, has anyone notice that Carrie totally was a
hair pioneer when it come to the huge bun? She was rockin' that 'do ages before
girls decided that ballerina-chic was the new ponytail.

Just a simple homage to my dear, old friend.
